Galanty Refund Policy
Effective date: 2026-10-07
We want you to buy with confidence. Playing and editing in Galanty are always free. The free tier includes 7 watermarked MP4 exports per month, including your first export, so you can use the free tier before deciding whether to buy Pro. If you're not happy with a purchase, here is how it works.
1. App Store purchases are refunded by Apple
Galanty is distributed through the Mac App Store, and both subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are App Store in-app purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple Account you purchased with, and submit a refund request for the order. Whether a refund is approved, and how long it takes, is Apple's decision.
2. Cancel your subscription any time
- You can cancel your subscription at any time in your Mac's App Store account settings.
- After you cancel, you won't be charged again. Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then your Mac returns to the free tier.
- Cancelling is not the same as a refund; to get money back for a charge already made, request a refund from Apple as described in section 1.
3. What we can help with
We cannot issue refunds for App Store orders directly — that is Apple's decision, not ours. But if you run into a problem, such as:
- a duplicate charge or an accidental purchase;
- the core feature (MP4 export) not working on your Mac because of a problem on our side;
- uncertainty about how to request a refund from Apple;
write to support@galanty.cn with the email address you used to buy and a description of the problem, and we will do what we can to help, including guiding you through Apple's refund process.
We reply within 2 business days.
4. After a refund
- Once Apple approves a refund, the corresponding Mac returns to the free tier.
- Your projects, and the videos you exported while you were paying, remain yours.
5. Free tier
The free tier needs no payment details and never charges you automatically, so no refund is involved.
6. Your statutory rights
This policy does not affect your consumer rights under the laws of the place where you live. Where local law gives you more than this policy, local law applies.
