Galanty Acceptable Use Policy

Galanty is a tool for making animated explainer videos. You are responsible for what you make with it. This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It covers everything you create, export or share with Galanty, including content produced by the AI assistants and other services you connect to it.

1. Prohibited content

Do not use Galanty to create or distribute:

1. Sexual content involving minors. Any sexualization, pornography or exploitation of minors is prohibited, without exception. When we learn of it, we deactivate the related Pro entitlement and report it to the authorities where the law requires.
2. Pornographic or sexually explicit content, including explicit depictions of sexual acts and non-consensual intimate imagery.
3. Impersonation and deepfakes. Impersonating a real person, brand or organization; making content that leads viewers to believe a real person said or did something they did not; or misleading viewers with fabricated images or voices.
4. Use of someone's voice or likeness without consent. This includes using another person's recordings, photos, video or identifiable features without the explicit consent of that person (or their legal guardian or rights holder).
5. Infringement of others' rights, such as copyright, trademark, privacy or reputation; for example, using music, images, video or fonts you have no license for, or publishing someone's private information.
6. Illegal content or uses, including fraud, scams, phishing and money laundering; promoting or facilitating illegal activity; inciting violence, terrorism or hatred; and harassing, threatening or bullying others.
7. Harmful misinformation, such as fabricated facts presented as news or official information, forged evidence, or content posing as medical, financial or legal advice in order to mislead.
8. Spam. Mass-producing content for unsolicited advertising, fake engagement, fake reviews or endorsements, or manipulating a platform's recommendations or engagement metrics.
9. Malicious code placed in scene code or project files you share, or the use of Galanty to spread malware.

2. Prohibited conduct

• Bypassing, cracking or tampering with license checks, export quotas, watermarks or the outro;
• Reselling, renting or publicly sharing the purchase record or Apple Account access used to unlock Pro;
• Using Galanty to attack or disrupt other people's systems or services;
• Violating the terms of the third-party services you connect (for example, AI assistants or speech services).

3. What we do not offer

• Galanty runs no cloud generative model, generates no photorealistic human faces and offers no face swapping.
• Version 1.0 does not offer voice cloning. Galanty's own narration options are macOS system voices and the preset voices of the on-device neural voice models. If you connect your own speech service or program, this policy still applies: do not use it to impersonate anyone or to use someone's voice without consent.
• We do not and will not offer "unfiltered", "uncensored" or "adult mode" features, settings or workarounds, and we provide no support for them.
• The AI assistants and services you connect have their own content rules; follow those as well.

4. Bundled content and system voices

• You may use the bundled templates, sample projects and music in your videos, including commercially. Give credit where an item requires it.
• Under Apple's license, macOS system voices are limited to personal, non-commercial use.

5. Enforcement

Galanty runs on your computer; we cannot see your projects and do not monitor them. If we learn of a violation through a report or other lawful means, we may, depending on the case:

• ask the person to stop and remove the content;
• deactivate their Pro entitlement, without a refund for an entitlement deactivated for a violation (unless the law requires otherwise);
• cooperate with the authorities where the law requires.

6. Reporting

If you see content made with Galanty that violates this policy, email support@galanty.cn with "Report" in the subject line, a link to the content and a short description. We take every report seriously and keep the reporter's details confidential.

7. Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version on our website.
